What we do

Every year, banks, employers, insurers, and other businesses turn over money they couldn’t return to its owners. The State holds it until the owner claims it. Most people never know it’s there.

We review the State Controller’s public records, reach out to the people listed, and, for owners who want help, prepare and file the claim on their behalf. The State pays the owner directly. Our fee is contingent, set in a written agreement, and never more than the 10% allowed under California Code of Civil Procedure § 1582.
